After playing for a great crowd around the world, the crew Sistema Criolina present a new live project: Space Night Love Dance Laser. The same brazilian vibes that were shown on DJ sets are now performed as authoral themes in a instrumental show. A great trip on tropical rhythms and electronic music.
Biography
After putting a great crowd rocking down on festivals and dance floors around the world, the crew Sistema Criolina present their new live project: Space Night Love Dance Laser. The same brazilian vibes that were shown on Criolina DJ sets are now performed as authoral themes. That’s a great trip on tropical rhythms, developing new sounds, joining instrumental music and DJ culture.
The rousing perform, composed by smooth melodies, hot harmonies and burning beats resulted in a successful formula. During the last months, the group has shared stages with artists like Gotan Project, Puerto Candelaria, Manu Chao, Criolo, Gaby Amarantos, Elza Soares, Sandra Sá, Daniela Mercury and others.
The Criolina crew has been working out on a great amount of creative projects as DJs, musicians, composers, producers, promoters and graphic designers – always carrying on the wealth of brazilian culture. Based in Brasília, they are responsible for the “Festa Criolina”, a party that happens since the first day of 2005, every monday. This event has became a mark on brazilian independent showbizz, as a stage for many artists from the whole world. Besides that, they produce concerts, festivals, soubdtracks and the “Radio Criolina”, a weekly radio show that presents the new brazilian music.

Funk Globo: The Sound Of Neo Baile
COMPILED BY FUNK NA CAIXA AND CLUB POPOZUDA
Welcome to Neo Baile, a new take on the traditional sounds and aesthetics of Brazil’s Baile Funk (or Funk Carioca) that challenges the established order to create something new, exciting and forward thinking.
We are extremely proud to present The Sound of Neo Baile compilation, featuring 14 unreleased and exclusive tracks from worldwide producers that reinterpret the love-it-or-hate-it Brazilian Baile Funk sound. The compilation has been put together by two of the movement’s most knowledgeable players: Sao Paulo-based Funk na Caixa aka Renato Martins and London-based Sean Casey aka Bumps, founder of Club Popozuda.
The Sound of Neo Baile features established names such as DJ Comdrade aka Xao, whose Favela Trap album made a major dent in the burgeoning scene at the end of 2012, Sao Paulo-based MC Gi, one of the forerunners of the scene, and Rio-based Maga Bo, who has been producing Brazilian-flavoured bass music since the early 00s. Alongside these are upcoming artists you’ll most definitely want to keep an eye on including Ophex from Lithuania, Ckrono & Slesh from Italy, Gato Preto from Mozambique, Chuck Upbeat from Moscow and London-based Bumps, one of the compilers. As a bonus the compilation also features the first lady of Funk, Deize Tigrona, on a track entitled Prostituto that fuses Tecnobrega and Trap.

Freitag, 7. Juni 2013, ab 24 Uhr im Schauspielhaus
